Mengubah file .PO dan .MO

sangat asing di dengar, karena ini juga baru pertama kali iz dengar, so, what the heck is that?

iSUR? tentang apaan lagi nih? otak langsung aja mikir soal, koding, koding, koding…

 well, akhirnya Iz harus dapetin apa sebenernya yang ingin di ubah dari iSUR itu. Iz baca CERMI ini. Ok so Iz tahu ternyata yang mau di ubah adalah pesan pada saat ingin memasukan token. Segera Iz buka google dengan keyword “How to change token message”. Beuh jawabannya itu loh

I hope it’s okay for you (as gold donator) if I try to help you/answer this question even though I’m not a member of the LimeSurvey support team.

I assume you found the article docs.limesurvey.org/Translating+LimeSurvey because you have downloaded Poedit and the en language file.

The first step is to start the Poedit application. You’ll be asked to select the language for poedit and be able to set the options for this programme. After a click on “OK” you have to open the en language file. To do so just click on the “File” menu and “Open …”. You have to browse to and select the en language file. In the main window you then see a column for the original string and one column for the translation. You then search for the original string you want to change. So open the “Edit” menu and select “Find …”. Search for “This is a controlled survey” and close the “Find …” window. The entry “This is a controlled survey” is now marked. In the first text area under the table you will see the text for the token message. Use the second text to write your “translation“, e.g.
“This is a controlled survey. You need a valid code to participate.”. Continue the “search” and “add translation” steps until everything you want is “translated”. Then use the “save” function (“File” menu -> “Save”) to save your work. Then put the .mo file into the live directory of your LimeSurvey installation, i.e. “/locale/en/LC_MESSAGES/” .

Lah kirain tuh aplikasi gratis, nggak taunya harganya Rp 299ribu 🙁 (Langsung GALAU)… Sambil mikir keras dan cari tahu file apaan sih sebenernya yang harus diganti untuk ganti token message itu. Udah obrak abrik (bahasa alay) jeroannya iSUR, nemu file didalam locale (folder untuk bahasa) dan nemuin 1 folder id (folder untuk bahasa indonesia). Waaah, dengan percaya diri buka folder itu dan nemu 1 file yang namanya id.mo (baru kali ini liat file dengan extension .mo :/ ) yaudah akhirnya seperti edit file-file yang lain, masuk ke cPanel dan edit. Waaah nemu nih bagian yang harus di edit (keliatannya gampang banget), setelah edit dan yang terjadi adalah iSUR langsung berubah ke bahasa default yaitu bahasa inggris. WHAT THE >.<

Well dengan sedikit galau bingung gimana balikin itu file, akhirnya Iz harus upload original file yang tadi di otak-atik yaitu id.mo.

Hmmm….penasaran, dan akhirnya karena the power of google, iz search the google “.mo file editor online” dengan hati harap-harap cemas karena bingung apakah ada atau nggak. Scroll, click, scroll, click, dan nemu lah website ini https://localise.biz/free/poedit , waaah ini website free…

Iz pun memulai petualangan dengan website baru ini, dan ternyataaaaaa….jeeeeuuuuuh edit file .mo gampang bener

 Iz edit lah itu file id.mo, setelah di edit, download hasil editnya dan upload kembali ke tempat asal…dan inilah hasilnya bisa dilihat DISINI
